Sugar Maple (Acer saccharum) summer foliage, shot against the trunk of a younger tree. The leaves of Sugar Maple usually have five lobes, but you may find leaves with three lobes as well. They have wavy margins without teeth and typically are lighter in color on the underside of the leaves.
