They’re the exact same thing just different terms. There is a difference between a laptop (notebook) and a netbook however. Netbooks are essentially made for browsing the internet and running a few programs. They usually cost less and have less memory and graphic capability as they’re mostly just used for internet browsing purposes. They are becoming more and more popular though.

There is no difference. Generally laptop=notebook=laptop. Netbooks, however, are those silly little micro-laptops. Death to the netbooks!
