Question by : Do you think that the main contributor to belly fat is saturated fats in your opinion?
I haven’t eaten or drinking any foods in the past day with a saturated fat in it along with my usual cardio in an attempt to get the bellyfat down faster. Think I should notice results in a couple of days of…..”no saturated fats and 2 days of cardio”? Think I should notice a difference when I look in the mirror at my bellyfat?

The two main contributors to belly fat are SUGAR and ALCOHOL.
I don’t care what anybody else tells you I am letting you know this as FACT.
Alcohol – obviously increases fat production due to the increase in NADH +H that’s produced when alcohol is broken down by alcohol-dehydrogenase and forms CH2CHOH + Pyruvic Acid Liver gets fattier and so does your belly – hence “Beer Belly”
Sugar/Carbohydrates are the other enemy. Increased sugar intake causes your insulin level to go WAY UP. Increase insulin does 2 things. 1 it speeds the uptake of sugar into your body and stores that sugar as fat (unless you go be active immediately after consuming sugar), and 2nd it prevents the breakdown of fats because it’s telling your body “we already have energy floating around in our bloodstream as sugar”
So saturated fats are probably way down on the list of things that actually cause you to be fat – probably somewhere near #5 or 6..
#3 is probably inactivity
#4 would probably be gluttony
#5 diabetes or other diseases
#6 = Fats + Saturated fats.
