It is a new version of my LEGO 3D Milling Machine. It was developed to participate in the WRO 2011 – Abu Dhabi in the “LEGO Robotics Experts” area. There is a lot of improvements, but the most important is that it is running leJOS with a linked PC. Now there is no more file size restrictions. All the data is in the computer that sends small amount of coordinates to the NXT every loop. Sorry… No building instructions. This video highlights one of my students major projects built at the Northern College of The Arts & Technology. Travis Kealey (Yr-12 2012) built this 3D RepRap Printer all on his own by printing all necessary parts on our UP3D printer. He also assembled his own arduino board to control the stepper motors. This project formed part of Travis’ assessment for VCE VET Engineering Studies 22019VIC. —
