Question by Carmen D: Can I Charge A battery Operated MP3 Player On A Computer?
So I found an old battery Operated mp3 player and I was wondering if it could be charged on the computer instead of having to buy batteries. When I do plug into the computer, the light stays on and it says “USB”. Thanks in advance.

No, you can’t.
Even with rechargeable batteries – the player function as a player- and not as a charger.
It turns on when plugged into the computer – with an empty battery – because the electric circuit is closed (and not because the battery is chargingg).
